For a solar water heater, you do not need a solar inverter. Solar inverter is only needed for those who wants to convert DC power generated from from solar panel (PV) to AC and fed back to the national grid (Tenaga National Berhad). The selling of electricity to TNB is falling under the Feed in Tariff program. Refer to SEDA for more information.
